Vineela has the confidence of climbing summits that are challenging and tougher than Mount Kilimanjaro,"
said M Suryanarayana Raju, in a press release. He added that as she
hailed from an economically-backward section of society, Nalanda Group
was committed to helping her.
"I am overwhelmed with the gesture of Nalanda Group. I will live up to their expectations and be a brilliant student," said Vineela, who plans to continue scaling newer heights.
Retracing her journey to Kilimanjaro, she said it was a very arduous journey. "There were many obstacles. The most difficult one being the adverse weather conditions, as we reached close to the summit. We made it through with our determination and endurance level," said Vineela, who trained for six hours per day.
As part of her fitness regime, Vineela used to run and jog with her brother. Though kids below 10 are not allowed to travel without their guardian to such summits, special permission was accorded to Vineela.
